Homemade Gel Candles
by Cyndi Roberts

1 cup concentrated liquid potpourri
2 envelopes unflavored gelatin (Knox)
small jars (baby food jars, 1/2 pint canning jars, etc.)

Heat the liquid potpourri till it almost boils, then remove from
heat and add gelatin.  Stir till it dissolves.

Pour into jars and put in fridge till it sets.

You can decorate jars any way you like:  place a lace doily on top
of jar and secure with a rubber band and tie a ribbon over the
rubber band; or use a piece of flat lace;  you could use nylon
netting or tulle; anything that will let the scent through.

Set on the stove while you are cooking and enjoy!

Note:  you can add 2 tablespoons of salt to the mixture to inhibit
the growth of mold.
